ANNOUNCING THE SHAMROCK SHUFFLE
DATE:Thursday, March 1st TIME: 5:30 – 6:30pm
PLace:Atkinson Track
When you arrive, there will be a table inside the gym where you will sign in. Atkinson students only will receive their Shamrock Shuffle “jogging card” for the fun run.
It’s time for the SHAMROCK SHUFFLE.
Run with St. Patrick and make your friends green with envy.
Join the Shamrock shuffle and leap like Leprechauns as you look for four-leaf clovers.
Students who participate will receive 1 award when they finish jogging, must complete at least 4 laps. For students who complete 10 or more laps they will receive a silly band at school during PE class. All laps will be added to your jogging card for the year. Remember to turn your “jogging card” into the PE teachers before you leave to get credit! We will have an award for the class who runs the most miles, class with the most participants and for the top students running the most laps. Students must be accompanied by a parent in order to qualify for the FIT FAMILY award.
Remember you must come with a parent (or a sibling at least 21 years old – District Policy) and no pets or bikes on the track for the safety of all participants.
