How do I build my school profile?

If you are an account administrator for a school, simply click on the "My Profile" link at the top right of the screen and then select the school profile you want to edit.  Once there you can use the options in the left column to create photos, make blog posts, embed videos, create events and invite fans!

 

If you are not yet an account administrator, find the school you want through the search on the School Community Page or the School List page.  On the school profile you will find a button that will prompt you with the steps to become an administrator for that school's profile.

I've signed up. Now what?

Now that you've signed up, you can use our website to access a variety of tools and resources to help create healthy change in your community.

 Login Process:

1. Go to www.activelifehq.org and

2. Click the link near the top right of the homepage titled "Login"

3. Type in your email address and the password you used to sign up and click the go button

This takes you to your personal profile.  Once you become a fan or administrator of an ACTIVE Life School, you will see it listed here (and you can click on the link to go straight to the profile).  

Otherwise, use the main menu at the top to explore the world of ACTIVE Life.

How can I get my school involved with ACTIVE Life?

Ask your school’s PE coordinator or teacher to sign up your school to become a member of the ACTIVE Life School Platform. They’ll enjoy immediate access to a host of free tools and resources designed to help students become healthier and more active. To find out more click here.

What are donations used for?

Thanks to the support from generous corporate and individual donors, we are able to, equip, educate, train and empower people and places across the country to become leaders in driving the change for a healthier American culture. More specifically, we rely on donations to fund the creation of programs and resources that serve members of Team ACTIVE Life and make the movement for healthy living in America a reality. Because of your donations, we are also able to produce and host the ACTIVE Life Festival, Demand Healthy Week and other community events that introduce thousands to the benefits of healthy lifestyles. Best of all, your donations allow us to offer all of these things for FREE!

Privacy/Safety (1)
How do you ensure the safety of minors

We take safety and privacy very seriously. Users must be 13 years old to create a profile on this site. If a parent creates a Team ACTIVE Life profile for her/his family, we do not ask her/him to provide the names of her children (although we do ask for date of birth and gender for general reporting purposes).

All Young Leader participants over 18 years of age must undergo a background check before they are approved for this program, and teams are asked and instructed to only meet in public places during daytime hours.

Lastly, we give all members the option to keep their profile private and just enjoy the password-protected tools and resources we provide, and we provide all members with the tools to immediately report abuse or inappropriate content.
